Spawned from the rite of passage of a young man sharing his first beer with his father, this family-friendly show doesn’t debate difficult topics (like politics, money, or religion) but does discuss the roles that dads can play in their children’s lives. Every week, 3 dads get together, talk about a different style of beer, taste a beer on air, and tell stories about their fatherhood and craft beer journeys. No snobbery. No judgment. No controversy. Chris talks about the cool folks he’s met on his recent journey and his beer journey in Idaho. John gets excited about Chris’s early return and learning that sometimes you have to be more specific with rules for your kids. Nick talks about taking a moment to enjoy life and the loss of Norm McDonald and a last-minute road trip. Chris had an interesting “black and tan” in Pocatello. Nick talks about an interesting Moscow Mule pale ale from Left Hand brewing. John talks about the latest Deftones and Belching Beaver collab. Then John goes into an often uncomfortable topic that should be discussed more openly. The style this week is Peanut Butter milk stout and we dive into the always taste Belching Beaver PB milk stout.
